BLADE SERVERS AND THE FACILITIES
REQUIRED TO CARE FOR THEM
Dear
Members and Guests of the Critical Facilities Roundtable,
Please accept this
invitation to our next membership meeting at Cisco Systems. The
meeting is open to all owners and operators of Critical Facilities,
and is provided compliments of our host ... at no cost
to participants.
We will meet in Northern San Jose, at Cisco
System's Headquarters Complex, to hear from Cisco's data center
infrastructure group and to review their plans, now on the
table, for Cisco's Next Generation Production Data Center.
Next, we will hear from Hewlett
Packard's Blade Server Product Development Group to hear why the
blade server is so important to the future of our data centers and how we
can best prepare for their needs.
Then we will tour Cisco's newest Research &
Development Data Center to view their newest rack and server
layout, methods of cooling and network connectivity.
Many thanks to Andy Broer and Cisco
Systems for contributing the time, space, resouces and
energy needed to help make this event a
