" Bridging the Gap Between IT and Facilities"

Members and Friends of the Critical Facilities Round Table,

Please accept this invitation to join us for our next quarterly meeting on Friday, September 16th at 8:30 AM at VISA USA in Foster City.  This event is made available to all critical facilities owners and operators at no cost for membership or attendance.   

Many thanks to VISA's Karen Schacht for providing the refreshments, the planning, and the facilities that have made this event possible. 

We will hear from one of our very own CFRT members about how their management addressed the issues that come between all of our IT and Facilities organizations, and we hope to see a presentation that will open your eyes to hands on assessments and solutions for our technical, organizational, and operational challenges.    

The presentation will be followed by a round table discussion about what issues we are facing today, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share information with one another.

Directions:      101 or 880 to 92 to Foster City, take the Mariner's Island Blvd exit and go South for about 5 blocks to Metro Center Blvd and turn left for one block to 801 and turn left into parking

                Larry plans to share with us what process and methods Kaiser Permanente employed to address these issues at the Kaiser Permanente data center in Walnut Creek.  Bring your notebook and best questions for Larry.  KP has done some things that the rest of us should consider doing ourselves.
