Richard McCormack, Senior Vice President Enterprise Systems will speak on the use of Fujitsu's advanced Server and Storage Technology as it applies to their recently retrofitted, 37k square foot Sunnyvale Data Center.
Fujitsu has quickly become the 3rd largest IT Services provider in the world. The Sunnyvale Data Center upgrade is an integral piece in support of their growing Infrastructure Services business. We will hear how Fujitsu has taken advantage of their own IT technologies to increase Data Center Density for their customers, while supporting their own Infrastructure Services. As Fujitsu grows its IT Services Business, the lessons learned in upgrading the Sunnyvale Data Center will drive the infrastructure future of one of the leading Cloud Support providers in the world.
Following Richard McCormick's presentation, you will also hear from Ted Viviani, Building Operations Manager for Fujitsu, who implemented a Fuel Cell project to power Fujitsu’s data center facility and gain insight on the financial benefits and advantages gained from implementing an alternative power solution.
